At the heart of this timepiece lies a material that once belonged to a Lancia Stratos, an automotive legend. Shaped by years of movement, atmosphere and emotion, it has now been transformed through independent Swiss watchmaking into a mechanical object that allows its story to continue.
The "Stratosferico" Piece Unique, crafted from the desire of a member of the Chalet, our dedicated space for the Arsène Lippens community, is an expression of preservation through transformation. Its dial is crafted from Alcantara taken directly from the original seats of a Lancia Stratos.
The Stratos dominated international rallying in the 1970s, winning three consecutive World Rally Championship manufacturers’ titles from 1974 to 1976, and completely changed how manufacturers approached rally cars, thanks to the futuristic wedge shape, tiny wheelbase and screaming Ferrari V6, the first outside a Ferrari car.
This Lancia Stratos is number 41 of only 492 produced worldwide.
